OLA of Eastern Long Island has organized two vaccine events on Wednesday, January 5, to expand access to boosters, adult vaccines, and child vaccines at Montauk Playhouse and The Children’s Museum of the East End.
The Montauk Playhouse event will take place from 2 to 6:30 PM, and will have Pfizer and Moderna boosters and flu vaccines. The Children’s Museum of the East End in Bridgehampton will be held from 3 to 7 PM and will provide Pfizer Covid vaccines for 5 to 11-year-olds.

“We are pleased to partner with Northwell Health and East Hampton Town leadership at the Montauk site where we will be offering Pfizer and Moderna vaccine boosters and flu vaccines,” said Minerva Perez, OLA’s Executive Director. “We are committing all staff possible to these actions … The child vaccine event at the Children’s Museum is being administered by Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, in partnership with CMEE and BHCCRC.”
Preregistration is necessary for each event. All offerings are free of charge.
“OLA is developing support systems led by OLA team members, Wally Ramirez, Andres Espinosa, and Charles Escalante, to assist East End schools in their vaccine events to better connect all families to these critical actions. We have already supported three school districts in the administering of child vaccines at school locations and we will continue to offer our support and follow up as needed,” said Perez.
“Even as OLA’s team is fighting through its own Covid related challenges, we remain committed to the needs of our community to see that Covid vaccine access and education is available to all regardless of language ability, immigration status, or transportation challenges,” concluded Perez.
